Mbuagua Kimani Joins the Royal Society of Painter-Printmakers

Our Managing Partner, Mbugua Kimani, has recently been elected to the UK-based Royal Society of Painter-Printmakers as an associate member, after a rigorous examination of his artistic journey and recent work. We believe he is the first person in the East Africa region to be granted this honour

The Royal Society received its Royal Charter from Queen Victoria in 1888. Members distinguish themselves with the letters RE after their name and the Society

It speaks volumes about the dedication and artistry he has shown over a number of years, and we at Hatrick Advisory Services could not be more proud of his achievements. We often use his and other artworks in our coaching sessions, bringing the two elements of our company together.

This election comes with some immediate rewards. In March, Mbugua will be showing at London’s eighteenth-century Somerset House. In May, he will be returning to London’s Bankside Gallery, where his work won a prestigious prize when exhibiting last year.

In addition to other exhibitions in the UK, Mbugua will have a permanent presence in Oxford’s Ashmolean Museum, where there is a collection dedicated to the Royal Society.
